The automatic confectionery funnel with portion control by Matfer Bourgeat is designed to deliver precise portion control of different product consistencies like: Mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, jellies and fruit paste, syrup, liquors, cream and coulis. One client uses it to dispense a cosmetic cream into a container.

Precise portion control in the kitchen or in the pastry shop contributes to better control over food costs and brings consistency to production. A single pressure on the handle will deliver a precise amount. The amount to be dispensed is easily calibrated up to 2/3 of a fluid ounce (20cc) capacity of the piston chamber.

Depending on the viscosity of the product, the maximum amount dispensed will vary between ½ oz. up to 2/3 oz. The graduations on the adjusting screw allow setting the amount for any chosen recipe thus producing the same amount over and over.

The funnel is made of polycarbonate and has a capacity of 1-1/2Qt. It resists temperatures up to 250 degrees. The funnel is easily taken apart for cleaning without tools. It is dishwasher safe. Dimensions are 16-1/2 high x 5-5/8" diameter. Overall including handle it is 10". The chromed stand is included in the selling price.
