In all my forty odd years of service at Neiman Marcus and in whatever capacity I served, that which remained paramount was CLIENTELE and SERVICE. In my last few years at that venerable store I was in sales where, literally, I became the agent of my clientele. The very reasons for my successful existence were my clientele most of whom I would not know had I passed them on the street. But, we recognized each the other's voices on the telephone because that was the communications method of the day. As their agent I looked out for their best interests in every regard and communicated with them often when there was that which I thought to be of interest to them: value, new items, sales or just plain old follow up. Today we have the internet and websites but the requirements for and the intensity of client relations is not, certainly should not, be diminished. I am your agent here and ready to serve at anytime.
