FLASH!

Now we have survived Thanksgiving...the charge is on! And, at this writing, today is called Black Friday. I think this is a total mis-nomer unless the media are simply talking about those who went out in the black of night to stand on line for limited come-on type bargains. Not my style by any shot. But, I will go along with "Cyber Monday" although I, as owner, am here every day and available for personal attention by email at laiva@swbell.net or telephone 800 577 7310 or fax 817 783 2026.

If you haven't taken a look at the MyChefsFavorites.com lately I must tell you this: My supplier has provided me with promotional prices on ALL COPPER WARES. Bourgeat, Mauviel and all the rest. I feel it really important to pass these values and savings along to you, my customers.

Prices on all copper wares right now are at very nearly half of list price on my site. Prices have not been this good in very long time. I will hold these prices for as long as I can, certainly through December but, I must say, it would be a good idea to buy early. Typically my supplier runs short in December making timely delivery sometime problematic.

Add to your collection or, appreciating the worthiness and cooking qualities of Bourgeat and all the rest, provide a lifetime gift to someone for whom you care.

So, now is the time to shop for the Holiday Season. I will hold orders, if you wish, on my shelf for future delivery providing timely availability for any holiday or gift event. I will also gift wrap future deliveries and enclose gift cards in your name at no additional charge. Both the wraps and cards will be pretty and executed by me personally.

Just to remind, all orders valued over $99.00 are still shipped free of shipping charges. This has not changed in spite of UPS and FEDEX price increases.

Sorry, no recipes this time. This is simply a bulletin. I will get the December Newsletter out in a week or so and will provide some really tasty recipes. BTW, have you clicked on the "Recipes By State" in the Information block on my home page? Actually it is labelled incorrectly. It should be "Menus By State" which is interactive and provides a menu with several recipes for each of the fifty states. Take a look!
