Wilted Salad Pepper Steak - Serves 4

1-½ pounds round steak
Flour
4 Tbsp fat
3 medium green peppers, chopped
2 medium onions
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2-½ cups water
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut steak into pieces about 2 x 3 inches. Roll in flour and brown in fat. Add peppers, onions Worcestershire sauce and half the water. Season well, cover and simmer over a low flame until tender, about 1-½ hours. Add the remaining water from time to time during the cooking. Adjust seasoning to taste.
