Iowa Slaw

1 head cabbage, cored and sliced as fine as possible.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dry mustard.

Make a sauce of vinegar, sugar and butter with a little flour, sour cream and egg mixed together and stirred in. Boil thoroughly and toss over cabbage to wilt it. Serve warm.
