State Fair Turkey Bake - Bakes 4 to 6 servings

8 slices bread
2 cups cooked, diced turkey
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
¼ cup chopped onion
1 Tbsp butter
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Cut bread into 1" cubes; place half the cubes in a well-greased 9" square baking dish. Spread turkey over bread; cover with cheese. Cook onion in butter until tender; place over cheese. Add remaining bread cubes.

In a preheated oven, 325º, bake for 40 minutes or until knife inserted half way between center and edge comes out clean. Let it rest several minutes before serving.
