New Hampshire - The Granite State, State flower: Purple Lilac Oyster-Stuffed Halibut - Serves 4½ pint oysters Preheat oven to 375º. Combine oysters and bread crumbs in mixing bowl. Add butter, 1 tsp salt, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, onion juice and mixed herbs; mix well. Place 1 halibut slice in lightly buttered serving casserole; cover with oyster stuffing. Top with remaining halibut slice; sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper. Mix ½ cup water with remaining lemon juice; pour over halibut. Bake at 375 to 400º for 30 minutes. |
