North Carolina - State flower: The Dogwood Baked Persimmon Pudding2 cups persimmon pulp Mix persimmon pulp, beaten eggs and milk. Sift dry ingredients together and pour liquid mixture into them. Stir in the melted butter and pour into a shallow greased pan to about a 2" depth. Bake for about 1 hour in a very moderate oven, 300º to 325º. When cold cut into squares and serve with plain or whipped cream. |
