Tomatoes Dakota Style - Serves 4

6 med tomatoes, peeled and quartered
¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 to 2 tsp sugar
Celery salt
Salt
Pepper
Butter or margarine-toasted bread cubes

Put tomatoes in a sauce pan with the onion and sugar. Usually no water is required. Simmer 5 to 15 minutes. Season the mixture with celery salt, salt, pepper and butter or margarine. If too juicy, add toasted bread cubes. Serve hot.
