Green Corn Fritters with Pepper Rings

1 pint pulp scraped from tender fresh corn
3 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp cream
1 tsp salt
½ tsp paprika
3 to 4 Tbsp flour
Pepper rings, made from fresh cored and seeded bell peppers

Beat eggs thoroughly and gradually add corn pulp; beating vigorously; add cream and seasonings and stir in flour, just enough to hold the mixture together. Put pepper rings into hot fat with a teaspoon (more like a tablespoon) of the batter in the center of each ring and fry a rich brown. Serve hot.
