Spare Rib Pie

Have spareribs chopped into convenient sized portions to serve; season with salt and pepper, dredge with flour and lay in a baking pan; add water to pan to depth of 3/4 "; bake in moderate oven, baste frequently, adding more water if necessary. When ribs are tender spread over them r a soft biscuit dough and bake it crisp and brown. Cut through the crust and serve with gravy poured over the top.
